A few weeks ago my wife called our cable service telling them we needed to cut one of our channel packages because we just couldn't afford it at the moment. The man on the other end of the line completely disregarded anything she said and instead tried to sell us MORE packages. Well after a few minutes of this, she interrupted the guy and said, "Look, we can't afford it, WE CAN'T AFFORD IT. We're hoping for some 'change' in the next election and maybe then I can get back to you."

Well this guy was having none of that! He replied, "Oh, so you want a socialist republic, do you?" to which began a half minute of uncomfortable silence. :P

Eventually, my wife finally said, "just cancel my package, please." to which he replied. "Ma'am, would you please grade my customer service on a scale of 1 to 5." :rofl:
