and then there are the Debbie Downer DU threads that discourage any expression of joy.

BUT THEN, I read a thread that our volunteer levels are dropping. That is a problem.

The message has to be informative, inspiring while not discouraging. I think the details need to be conveyed as part of the warning.

That in addition to rigged machines and voter suppression, McCain's ground team IS getting out there now.

That the problem with believing in a landslide (as I do) is saying that to someone, who says that to someone else, who then feels they don't need volunteer as much or work as hard.
