3. What I don't understand
Is why, with him CONSISTENTLY leading McCain by several points at best, is the MSM acting like he is LOSING the election when he is clearly not? The MSM seems to think that since Obama isn't totally crushing McCain then something is obviously wrong. Of course, I think Obama SHOULD really be crushing McCain in the polls but given the MSM's thinly veiled antipathy towards him not to mention their gentle "kid gloves" treatment of McCain so far, it's really shouldn't be that much of a mystery why Obama apparently can't "seal the deal".
As the OP also pointed out, it's NOT November so there is really is no "deal" to "seal" quite yet. Neither the conventions nor the debates have taken place so I'm not sure how much people (outside of political junkies like us) are even following the election (outside of some of the trash that MSM has been spewing). I think that once people get some more exposure to Obama, particularly during the debates, people will become more comfortable with him. I don't see people warming up to McCain at all and I imagine that most people who end up voting for him will be doing so more as a protest vote AGAINST Obama rather than a vote FOR McCain.
