I realized this weekend why fear has worked so well for the bu$h regime and their right wing followers. It's goes back to the fire and brimstone preachers, Get saved or you will die preaching.
People are afraid if they don't go to church and pray they will burn in hell forever, likewise they have come to believe the US will burn under terror attacks if they don't give the GOP everything they want and keep them in power.

All they have is fear!
