There were plenty of people who saw Bill Clinton's execution of a black man as problematic because it looked like he was making his law and order bona fides by taking time out of his campaigning schedule to execute a black man who didn't even understand the concept that he was going to die.
In addition, people also thought the whole Sista Souljah incident was Bill Clinton's way of showing the "bubbas" that he wasn't afraid to put black people in their place by cutting down a black woman whose politics he didn't agree with.
What happened this year was just more reminders of that kind of behavior. Why would you expect black people to put up with that kind of fuckery when there's an alternative?
