But let's be honest. She didn't mean to say "I'm sticking around in case Obama gets shot". Let's not pretend she meant that.

Why should we be honest about this? Because that's the WHOLE POINT of Obama's campaign. It's an anti-BS campaign. So let's be truthful.

Having said that, there's a good chance she's going down for this. And that would be great. She SHOULD go down for it.

Why?

First, it was an incredibly stupid and offensive thing to say. I mean monumentally idiotic. How insane do you have to be to actually allow those words to come out of your mouth. When you're talking about people being assassinated, there is no room for error. And then she gave that BS "I'm sorry if" apology. Give me a break. There are limits to what you can say, even if you "didn't mean it". After all, she's a politician. Would you want someone who says things like that as your running mate? What if she does it again?

Also, everyone knows that the only thing that could possibly give Hillary the nomination is if something disastrous happens to the Obama campaign. That's why she's staying in. I know, that doesn't mean she's hoping he gets shot. What she's hoping is that some video will surface of Barack Obama smoking crack with members of Hamas. She's not hoping he gets shot, just humiliated by some dirt from his past. That's her ONLY HOPE. How honorable.

On top of that, she's run a dirty campaign, and she hasn't been bashful about taking every word she could out of context, and make all sorts of dishonest insinuations. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

So, yes, technically it's unfair if she goes down for this, because she "didn't mean it". She should have gone down a month ago for any one of horrible divisive things she's done. This is the least of her sins.

It's like when they got Al Capone on tax evasion.

We'll take it.
