Do any of you see the indirect outreach/appeal to the female voter by the Kerry Campaign? Unintentional or Intentional, it seems a dominating theme.
Edwards obvious appeal to the female gender (I like Clark)
Teresa obiviously is going over really well with women, Repuke women even like her
Elizabeth Edwards is easily a non threatening woman who is to be respected as well as related to by the woman struggling with her figure ( and that means ALL of us )
Two adorable Edwards pre school children
Three beautiful classy well educated young women, one of who tells a great story about her dad giving mouth to mouth to a rodent/pet.
Two gorgeous sons that seem classy and educated
Kerry appeals to women
The fact that Kerry threw back his head and laughed when Teresa was on stage and chanted "They want 4 more years of hell!" and then also chanted with the audience "3 more months". Kerry then WARMLY HUGGED AND KISSED his wife on stage. This goes over REALLY WELL WITH WOMEN. What woman doesn't appreciate a man that isn't afraid to stand behind his wife when she is speaking her mind and actually LAUGHS and supports her and is openly and warmly affectionate with her? This is the stuff that woman pick up on and this is what will warm more women to Kerry even more. There is such a stark contrast between their relationship and 43' with Stepford wife.
The Nurses endorsed Kerry The Teachers Unions Endorsed Kerry Pro Choice is Kerry's
The whole campaign theme of a "Positive outlook and approach" is more appealing to the female voter in general,
The adorable 12 year old on the stage during the convention
I don't know, I think that this group is going to be overwhelminly appealing to the female voter - and we afterall, are the largest voting block in the country.
When Kerry needs to show some strength, he is beginning to more so now than he has in the past. So, his appearing to be a more thoughtful considerate man will go a long way.
Edwards sure has "star" power to some women to, I remember reading on how a long time Republican voting husband and wife went to the polls and the wife "said" that she was voting for Nixon, but instead in the privacy of the voting booth she voted for Kennedy, because he was so much more appealing than Nixon.
Edwards isn't having the overwhelming appeal that they thought he would have though....No great surprise to me! Clark would have been a better choice and HE would have helped more with the MALE voter.
What do you think?
