What happened in the interim?

Oh, that's right - Obama just announced that he wants a windfall profits tax on oil companies too.

Of course shareholders "suffer" (e.g. profit less) when the profits of the companies in which they invest are limited.

When I filled up my car last week it cost $70. I simply don't fucking care that "their" portion of that $70 is reduced.
