I joined our local Democrats to register people to vote. I follow the news daily and am an avid supporter of removing Bush from office.
I am surprised however, on how quickly people here fall in line. I believe that stating your views, whether they be fears, anger or joy are what is usually called "good discussion". Edwards was chosen--a week ago? All of us who supported other candidates are supposed to just "get over it" in a matter of DAYS? I was much more invested in my choice than to sigh and move on in a matter of days. The mourning period for Reagan isn't even over yet! Give some of us REALLY LOYAL campaigners some space. Allow us to vent. Allow us to raise LEGITIMATE issues and concerns - PERSUADE US that we are wrong - - -Isn't THAT how you win elections?

I see enough HATE on the Repubs side, are we the same? From some of the replies to this message, it looks like the answer is YES. Many of us are NOT HAPPY with this ticket, are we so expendable that you just choose to INSULT us because we aren't "YES SIRring" it fast enough for you?

Why don't you answer to my concerns - individually - instead of just discounting the whole post?

I have been arguing point by point with Bush supporters since he was elected - I have even opened some of their eyes. Why don't you try to do the same. THAT IS HOW WE'LL WIN THIS ELECTION arguing points not slamming and name-calling
