103. Nancy, Hillary Clinton might have as much as 100% gray hair!!

I'm writing this from the perspective of a woman who has had a couple of careers. I've been on TV as a children's show host and in radio as a talk show host (on and off from 1957 through 2008). I also was a technical representative of Clairol's Personal Products Division (haircolor and hair care experience learned through the company) out of NYC and Stamford, CT. (1983-1992)

Blondes are made out of brunettes who have gray hair. It's easy to do. Lift the melanin out of the pigmented hairs with bleach, and at the same time, or later on -- deposit yellow pigment color on the gray and -- CARAMBA! Think of Barbara Walters. She was a level 3 medium brown hair when she was younger. I worked around the corner from her at NBC. She now has -- blonde hair. Same story.

Hillary is 60 years old. She was born on October 26, 1947. Hillary was a brunette (medium brown -- level #3) as a young woman. But what is not revealed is that the society as a whole thinks that blonde hair on a woman means she is DUMB! How did things get that way? I don't really know. But the caricature goes WAY BACK in both film and television. Blondes were -- and are -- considered intellectually challenged. People used to call my radio program and tell me that I "sounded like a blonde." I was never able to quantify that comment except as a put-down.

Of course, there was that advertising slogan that "blondes have more fun." Also, the one that asks, "Does she or doesn't she?" That was Clairol and it was successful. Well, to be sure -- HILLARY DOES. She also has had skillful plastic surgery.

Your original post has a clever title... however, it is quite slanted in my opinion. By the way, I work with the blind, too! So I could take offense on a couple of levels.

No worries. Just sayin' -- On edit: I know you are living in Canada, but you have already voted based on your New York residency.

For many of us, we're still waiting for our primary ballots. It has been a long wait.

Peace, love and happiness,

Radio Lady Ellen in Oregon
