- to support the DEM candidate, no matter who (and since that includes the slim possibility of a Lieberman nom, you gotta KNOW how tough this one is.)
- that if Dean wins the nom, I will not, under any circumstances, do anything that could be even remotely considered gloating.
- that if another candidate should emerge victorious, I will get out my pom-poms and fiercely campaign for said candidate (except Lieberman who is lucky to get my bloody vote. Hey, I'm HUMAN, for Gawd's sake.)
- that no matter WHO the candidate is, I will not revisit the "if-only-we-had-nominated-_______" argument.
- that if ANY of the DEM candidates makes any noises about a "third party bid" I will vociferously and actively denounce them. This comes on the heels of many stories and pundits waxing fantastical about a Dean third-party entry. This I do not see. (Frankly, I'm more worried about a Kucinich third part bid.)
- that any Dem who says that another Dem candidate is "unelectable" immediately goes to the bottom of the preference list. S'okay to argue that you are the BEST candidate to beat Bush. But to come out and say that any other candidate CANNOT WIN, and name names. . .well . .it really sucks.
