Obama had always been my second, but I must say my respect for him has really grown since I turned my focus to him. I will always have a place in my heart for Edwards. I hope he will find himself in some position from which he can still work for the goals he has run on, such as eliminating the shameful problem of poverty in this country. His desire to make life better for those who struggle to get by in this country is what attracted me to him.

I love the way that Al Gore came back and found a way to continue his work and even grow as a force in the world. If the right office does not come along for Edwards, I hope that in some way, he will be able to still be a force for good like Gore has.
