Response to Original message
50. Thanks for the list. I have a couple of responses.
It's nice to have the things being alleged all in one place and a reference.
Here are my impressions of those I checked...

- Barack Obama said to the Chicago Tribune: "The default candidate for Democrats in this race was always going to be Hillary Clinton because she's Hillary Clinton as opposed to Hillary Rodham."

The quote is incomplete. It continues on, "There's a feeling of we know what we'll get with Sen. Clinton. With me, I've got to make the case much more affirmatively because I haven't been on the national scene as long."

Without the entire quote, it seems to imply something else. That one wasn't really fair. In context, it's pretty benign.

- David Axelrod (Obama's Karl Rove) says: "The fact that Senator Clinton is a polarizing figure in American politics is not even a point of debate. It's an empirical fact."

I don't find anything inappropriate even taken at face value. She evokes strong feelings in people . Many very positive. Many very negative. I don't read any more meaning than that.

- While campaigning for Barack Obama, Laurence Tribe says of Sen. Hillary Clinton: "She's not really a phony, though she plays one on TV."

Because she was taking questions from her own planted shills! She can just suck this one up. Good for Dr. Tribe. She got what she deserved. I think it's kind of lame to whine about this one. Seriously!

So at this point I'm noticing a pattern and noticing that the list seems like it might have a little bit of padding in it. I figured I'd try one more. I skimmed the list for something to pop out.

The Obama campaign circulates a memo referring to Sen. Clinton as "Hillary Clinton (D-Punjab)." Note: To his credit, Obama did apologize for this, though he never fired the person(s) responsible for the memo.

Aw, that is terrible and it's even worse in context. I can't believe how stupid that was, not to mention they got caught being sneaky about it too. This was a good example. I'm glad he apologized, but that was really really boneheaded.

Thanks for the challenge.
Karl
