Yes, she was sued and he was hired as a consultant. I believe her lawyers would take issue with you giving Dr. Phil all the credit, they had something top do with it also. Why did they claim she destroyed the price of beef? Because by her making one statement about not eating beef, in light of mad cow disease, the market price of beef tanked. That's pretty powerful to me if one person's remarks can do this.
