On edit, since somebody won the bonus points: The point is not whether this candidate is right or wrong about the oil in specific. The point is that this habit of building himself up by disrespectfully juxtaposing himself against that hi-larious ole' nutsy left is annoying and probably rather revealing. I don't expect any (viable) candidate to embrace the net-roots point of view, but why constantly disparage it? Just say what you believe without disrespecting the base in the processs.
