If she were a man with exactly the same opinions, an electablity would not be an judged based on gender (or race, for Obama). Either you agree with the candidate or not. Electablity would be discussed based on the appeal of the candidate to many voters, extending beyond the Democratic party.

But it is easy to attack her electablity, and that of Obama's based on race and gender, even though no one would come out and say it, only imply.

While not saying this in public, of course, you can bet that the Edwards campaign is banking on it.

I have not made my choice, yet, and will vote for whoever the candidate is, but some of the group bashing on DU (remember Edwards' house last summer?) require a step back and looking at things with more fairness.
