Seriously, these are different times. We have a war that is bleeding us dry. Programs and policy for all americans have been completely shut off by the Bush administration to continue and maintain this disaster. Now he wants 200 Billion? Why has the cost gone up so much? I thought that after the Peterus report and the downsizing of combat troops (who are suppose to come home, I'll believe it when I see it) the costs should go down. But it's that's hidden agenda that the new Perez will not see until he/she sits in that seat. Tough choices will have to be made and the Iraqis are not going to vanish. We're stuck with them and I just don't see progress for americans citizens in this country. It's rob Peter to pay Paul. You can make campaign promises and instill hope, but what about reality? What do you think?
