It was early (for me) and my voice was cracking and I flubbed a couple words (then corrected myself) but I got to ask Rep. Tanner, Dem. from TN this morning, why the Dems. just accept and never question Bush's assertion that Zarqawi was in Iraq, using that as "proof" that al Qaeda was in Iraq, even though we now know Saddam was trying to ARREST Zarqawi. He replied that Cheney has been making that false connection for years and agreed that Saddam hated al Qaeda (I forgot to mention also that Zarqawi wasn't even a member of al Qaeda 'til AFTER we invaded). But he didn't explain why nobody EVER questions the Repubs. when they use their Zarqawi talking point. My question was in at about 1 hour 25 min. and after they wrote I was from New York, (correctly), for some reason they quickly changed and said I was from Georgia.
