Credentials. Who can be picked by the military and who can not.
Nothing in his bio at Wiki, if correct, really qualifies him to be a military analyst.
"Sanchez was born in East San Jose, California, the youngest of four children to Puerto Rican parents.<4> He attended Independence High School, graduating in 1988, and then traveled to Europe, where he taught English at academias, an informal language center for students. He also did some writing for travel magazines.<5> He lived in Quebec in the 1990s, working in the adult entertainment industry both there and in Los Angeles, after which he moved to Germany. In 2003, he joined the Marine Corps Reserve under an eight-year enlistment, and was trained as a refrigeration mechanic.<2><1>"
"Sanchez returned to college in his mid-30s, starting at New York University in 2004, and then in 2005 transferring to Columbia University, studying in the School of General Studies.<6> He became known on the Columbia University campus for his pro-military stance, and in 2005, while he was a junior at the university, he claims that he underwent harassment from on-campus leftist students."
I don't know what journalism courses he took. I took quite a few in college, so does that qualify me?
Someone should be asking why...since Air America Radio and other liberal talk (except finally Ed Schultz) were forbidden to be broadcast, will Limbaugh was heard. Ask why and how so many of the right wing bloggers have been there been embedded with the troops. Didn't Malkin go for a while?
And in my mind I think that porn background might play into the scrutiny, though I am not concerned about the gay part. How does he get such access?
