Candidate supporters who look for any opportunity to guess and interpret negative things against another candidate support the GOP more than their own candidate and indicate a problem more for their own candidate in the process. The attempt to bloviate and bully for Kerry did not help or stand by him when he self-destructed early on. Nor did it help others.
It doesn't hurt to cut our people some slack and stay positive- for the good of the nation, for those dying daily in Iraq... at least? The boundary line on substantive issues and canaidate weaknesses should be the problem area, not mike whispers.
