Post a bunch of :rofl: or :boring: or :eyes: to make someone think that your question is below them even trying to answer.It's used most often by people who don't have an actual answer but still need the last word and feeling of superiority that only a bunch of smilies can provide.

Another good trick is to never answer the question but ask one of your own,usually only marginally related to the issue,in an attempt to distract someone from their own question and put them on the defensive.You see this used especially by politicians (and you're "debating" one right now).
