4. Thank heavens...
I couldn't agree more. There is so much more important work needed in undoing the damage of these past 6 years. Resolving the Iraq fiasco is number 1 for me. I'm anxious to see what McGovern has to say on that. The idea of Gates is not sitting well with me right now -but I want to hear all the plans.

The results of the inquiries and investigations will dictate whether or not impeachment should be pursued. Having * visible and continuing in his petulant pursuit of a legacy will be a constant reminder of what needs to happen to ensure that no Unitary President from any party is ever given free rein again. Habeas Corpus, torture, the use of foreign prisons, illegal wiretapping, mid-East Peace, health care, education, social security, wages, job retention, affordable housing, and more (not necessarily in that order)- all need attention.

And - we need to be as vigilant and demanding of our Democratic leaders as we have been of the Republicans. It is the country and it's future that should remain the true concern. The election is a beginning - not an end.
