I would not ask that my government guarantee relief from natural disasters. I would ask, however, that they not contribute toward making them worse. Bush's environmental policies are doing exactly that, are they not? (I assume you support the thought that global warming is real and causing real significant problems)

Hungry Bears? - of course not. However, again I do blame him for not supporting sound environmental policies. The U.S. is the largest contributor of greenhouse emissions. So what is junior's policy - "not our fault". Does not support Kyoto. Supports rebates for gas guzzlers. Backs off clean air initiatives to allow greedy corporations more money. Do we not have an obligation to do something to clean up this mess? Not according to junior. He is so deep into the pockets of these corporations that he cannot see the impact he is having. Did you see this hatred during the Clinton reign? How about the years of George I?. Reagan? Nope.
