1. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT?????!!!
Edited on Sat Dec-24-05 07:04 PM by tbyg52
This is the most nearly related thing I can find for my rant (I don't post much, so I can't start a thread yet).

As I was watching ABC news tonight, the anchor's closing comment to the lead story (bugging much more widespread than originally thought, seemingly extending to virtually every overseas call and email) *really* hit me the wrong way. Here's what I sent to ABC news and the local ABC affiliate:

"Something to think about"???!!!!! That was the closing comment of your anchor regarding the Bush administration's wholesale bugging of the American people, with, it seemed to me, the implication "watch what you say and whom you talk to." Excuse me??? A more appropriate closing comment would be "what the *%$#F@ is going on here, and what are we going to do about it?!"

I know this is far from the worst thing that has happened lately, but it just got my back up.

If you'd like to yell at them also:
