3. Having sent Dorothy on a Rendition...
Having sent Dorothy on a rendition to a secret location, leaving Toto alone to howl piteously in Oz, Condi was last seen looking for her broom so that she could leave the area before it started to rain and she had to worry seriously about melting.

She says less with more words than just about any other official in the Bush administration, except for Rummy. Imagine asking them both a question at the same time.

Since she knows full well that the US is doing the torturing, maybe she is waiting for assurances from the voices only she can hear in her head.

It's a cute evasion though. They use private contractors to fly the prisoners to the CIA prison sites and private contractors do the interrogating of the prisoners. So she is saying that the US is not actually doing any of this. Only the people hired by the government. :wtf: To me that's the same thing, but then I'm just a lowly dissenter.
