11. I don't support censorship as applies to adults, but...
I do think that stores shouldn't sell the violent and overtly sexual games to kids. That's why they are rated. Parents should make that decision. Blockbuster doesn't rent R rated movies to children, theaters are not supposed to sell tickets to R rated movies without a parent present, etc.

My parents were pretty lenient when I was a kid. We were allowed to watch whatever we wanted on tv (including HBO), read whatever books we wanted to read, and from the time I was about 15 on, no ticket seller ever questioned my age when I went to R rated movies. My mom never had any problem with us seeing "slob humor" movies that were so prevalent in the 70s and 80s. Hell, she took us to see "Animal House", and I was very young when I saw "The Godfather" (about 8) for the first time uncut. But most movies then were tame, as far as violence and sexual violence in particular goes-I had no nightmares from the horse's head in the bed or the dead horse in the dean's office. We didn't have video games like they have now, nothing interactive or realistic looking.
