10. Under the Pombo rider on the House version of the Budget Bill, they would
be able to do this to hundreds of millions of OUR PUBLIC LAND - only they could buy it cheap and either "develop" it or sell it to absolutely ANYONE with the money and connections - like foreign corporations.

See the links in my sig line. I'll be posting an update tonight or tomorrow. This is going to happen or be defeated soon - possibly by the end of this month. The Pombo rider MUST be blocked from the reconciled Budget Bill (it's not in the Senate version currently) before passage. Horribly, this is going under the radar of almost all major media except the LA Times. It's worse than ANWR drilling, much worse, and it was sneaked into the bill at the last minute, without public hearings.
