When elections are won or lost by a few percentage points do you really think that any party afford to run a candidate with the 1/3 of the country assuming they're not really loyal Americans. Now, add in the current "War on Christians" and "War on Christmas" meme and you can guarantee that even a great Jewish candidate like Feingold has no chance in a national race.
