BTW - while you're at it, if you're calling your own congressperson about this, URGE them to make a stink about the DAMNED bush funding cuts to the Army Corps of Engineers projects to shore up the levees against a (then-)possible Category Five hurricane. And demand that they call for our National Guard to be brought back from Iraq because THEY'RE NEEDED HERE!!! And you might add this: "I defy ANYBODY in Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama, or ANYWHERE else in 'Hurricane Country' to tell you they're 'safer now.'"
