2. Dems are doing their job by asking questions.
If they didn't question the nominee they would not be representing the interests of their constituents. They represent the people. They are the people's voices. The questions they have asked have been appropriate in the past. A Supreme Court nominee is a serious business. It is not a matter of being oppositional. It is a matter of confirming the best candidate. This is the frame they should counter with. To not find out all there is to know about the nominee would violate the trust given to them by the people who voted them into office.
