That was the impression I got of Schweitzer when I read about him.

I think the 2004 election proved that most of us liberals will vote for the Dem no matter who he/she is because the alternative is the party of DeLay.

We need to get more of the people in the middle voting with us & I think Schweitzer could accomplish that.

Personally I think it's time for someone other than a Southerner or a Californian to be president. I like the idea of someone from Montana being our candidate. I also prefer a governor because it's harder to make up lies about a governor's record than a senator's and you know the Repubs will lie through their teeth attacking our candidate.
