31. Yes and no
preoccupied... mentally (as in can't get off the mind) ... or verbally (as in can't stop thinking about). Generally we think of the two types as being related... unless it the latter is intentional and targetted more towards audience and a goal to be achieved. The goal - in my opinion - is to keep amassing $$ and political capital. If they had found that the issue of "ballet dancing among male children" resonated with their current and potential base as a fear issue that they would be hammering that issue into the ground. Point being - is it preoccupation/obsession or vile pandering/opportunism?
