38. But it has nothing with General Clark...
It has something to do with the "Rove Memo" that they are still following. Wes Clark is a Democrat first, a General second...in their minds, therefore they aren't gonna give as easily the respect that he deserves. Bush bootlickers rarely give Republicans or Bush regime supporters hard questions or give them a hard time.

The problem that they have is that they end up looking mean spirited and antagonistic, and that only makes the General look that much better. Although I will say that in the past Joe, just like the Chris Matthews have been pretty respectful of the General. In fact, this is the first or second time only that I have seen the General sharing an interview with someone else. It's pretty rare.

I prefer that Wes responded the way that he did....firm and on message. I wouldn't want him to go "General" on them. That's what they want....and Wes is smart enough not to give it to them. We don't want too much footage of the General kicking some ass....as it might get misinterpreted......a nice videotape gift for the Republicans, who want to call Wes crazy anyway....since it's the only thing they can use.
