Hart Senate Office Building.

Anthrax.

Six weeks of unfettered access to all offices and files and computers and everything in that building while BushCo "inspectors" scoured the place for germs, or ??.

This is my ultimate tin-foil theory, but dammit, it sure explains a LOT -- Daschle, and every other Dem rolling over like a happy puppy waiting for a belly rub. No one even talking about catching the anthrax guy anymore. Why not? Because it wasn't about the anthrax, it was about getting access to the Democratic offices to find playbooks, closeted skeletons, anything.

All but the squeaky-cleaniest of Senators likely survived the scouring without something for BushCo to use against them when the close votes came down the pike.

Don't roll your eyes...think about it. Think about the whole anthrax fiasco and who it's "victims" were. The media and the democrats.

Hmmmmmm. "Sit, stay. Do as your told, or else. We already have the goods."
