ONLY MORE SO??? I don't doubt that the story is true. It does tell you a lot about the man's character. He chose to give a 12-pound dog a prolonged beating with a belt, while the poor animal tried its best to defend itself, all over a pointless power struggle that the dog probably didn't even understand. Picking the little beast up and putting it to bed wouldn't do, because Dobson's pride had been injured. Can you imagine how much damage he could do to a stubborn toddler?
I find it very disturbing that this man has so much influence.
