They are here , telling us to act more moderately. To keep it down, lest we scare people. Shhhh. We don't want to unduly upset people with the loss of their basic democracy.

Why are so many on DU here solely to perpetuate this agenda of capitulation?

I was around in '72 and I can can tell you, this sort of panic did not exist.

Well meaning or agenda laden, the truth is the truth, and shushing us up will only do a disservice to our children and their children.
