The John M. Olin Foundation and Smith Richardson (part of the "Four Sisters for their tendency to fund similar conservative projects, publications and institutions") are on the mediatransparency.org list of contributors to PPI, too.

For me, things like this just cloud-over who is who and on whose side who is on.
