It wasn't just Hillary and Schumer but a whole host of slick " centrist" dems in the NYC pantheon.
Is is too much to ask of these people that they *occassionally* take a stand? Provide some actual "leadership"?

This is New York and it would not be tantamount to political suicide to provide some legitimate opposition to what's going on nationally and internationally.

I've come to a decision. I will no longer donate to the NYS party until I see some evidence of the party's interest in things I regard as important.

Why these people continue to get away with this is a mystery, not to mention an outrage. ( Schumer was not even challenged in a primary, difficult to do if the party bosses discourage it, even though his foreign policy is virtually indistinguishable from Bush's. Clinton's is only a "nuance" away.)

I say hold their feet to the fire.
