Rightly, on the radio she brought up the Dem. Party now holding the high ground on budget issues. You might think she'd like the Dem.s to capitalize on this. To fire up the base and attract old-time conservatives, the Democrats could stage a walk out during the vote to raise the debt limit. Or have an anti-porkathon: ask Dem. House members to stand on the steps of the capitol to read directly from the budget the provisions for right wing pork.

Alas, too confrontational for Nancy. Can you imagine what the Rep.s would we doing were the tables turned?
