If we nominate a candidate for president and he does not win, he should be prevented from ever running again.
This will help to prevent a recurrence of what has happened to us in both 2000 and 2004. After all, maybe if Al Gore or John Kerry knew that they would never get another crack at the presidency, they'd have stood and fought for the integrity of the vote that would have given them the job they'd already won.
If the Republicans were in the position we are now, do you think they'd be as reluctant to fight?
