143. David, you need a plan, my man!
Maybe it could be something like conducting a full fledged post mortem examination of all the numbers; an thorough-going investigation of the progress of results over the night, involving tracing everything back to--and verifying--the actual machines that produced the results, as well as all the procedures in use, the chain of custody of the results, etc.

Perhaps people like Bev Harris would help organize a team to look up the nose of every line of code in each of the different machines.

The project would have to be based on the premise that we suspect votes were manipulated in some way, and our goal is to either determine how or to convince ourselves things were on the up-and-up.

One of the outcomes, whatever the result, might be to write a book detailing exactly--in minute detail--exactly how the entire election process works within a state, from the casting of individual votes on individual machines, right on up to the tabulation of totals at the state level. That would be an enormously valuable contribution to the political culture. It could be done more easily if a number of people each had responsibility for different aspects of the process.

Anyhow, I'm just thinking out loud here. I grew up in Cleveland, and would love to participate--even if only a couple of days a week (traveling from eastern PA) in such a project. But I do think you need to map out a plan.
