Reply #11: Conservative. Lived there for twenty years.

When I first went there for college, so many people kept complaining about how conservative it was. However it is a great and beautiful city and there were plenty of people of my ilk there. However, Cincinnati has a horrible record with the Black community there - suppression suppression. Not much neighborhood integration. Lines are drawn almost visibly, but seems to be going even more conservative with the rise of minority professionals and others flocking there.

On another note: The Labor Day fireworks (with WEBN, one of the first FM rock radio stations) are probably the best in the country. My husband who was born and raised there goes back almost every year just for that occasion. I'm telling you they are a must see.
