14. Stats:
RALEIGH, NC: Senator John Edwards has stood up to President Bush more often than any other person in the Senate, according to a new analysis by Congressional Quarterly.

Edwards voted against Bush's agenda 58.7 percent of the time, topping Congressional Quarterly's list. Here are the top ranking Senators who vote against Bush and their respective rankings:

•John Edwards (D-NC): 58.7 percent
•Bob Graham(D-Fla.): 58.3 percent
•Jon Corzine (D-NJ): 56.8 percent
•Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ): 56.3 percent
•Barbara Mikulski (D-Md): 56.0 percent
•Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.): 55.6 percent
•Jack Reed (D- RI): 55.2 percent
•Dick Durbin (D-Ill.): 54.5 percent
•Joseph Biden (D-Del.): 54.1 percent
•Tom Harkin (D-Iowa): 54.1 percent
•Paul Sarbanes (D-Md.): 53.9 percent

If anyone has access to CQ, they can do an independent verification of these stats, but I'm sure you'll find them to be correct.

BTW, I don't know what the heck Carol was talking about in the debate. I used to like her, but after this false bash in this debate combined with the packer ban attack in the last one, I'm beginning to wonder if she's in cahoots with another candidate or something.
