According to the OP, "what this video proves is that the government had a plane in the air over the pentagon well before the impact of the attack - likely a fighter jet" and then asks, "why didn't it try to stop flight 77?"
Doesn't it matter whether or not that's really the "most likely" interpretation, or even a reasonably plausible one?
