6. My cousin was fishing the day of Flight 800
and most definitely saw a streak of light heading up toward the very distant plane. He was horrifed to watch an explosion and debris raining down. He was so shocked by the sight that he went into a depression, which he had a hard time crawling out of. I think his depression was rooted in his internal conflict between the horror that he saw and the public story about it. I found him thoroughly convincing.

I also remember the Egyptair crash. I recall that the pilot issued prayers to Allah before purposely turning the nose down. I remember at the time his behavior was attributed to depression. In retrospect, it certainly has resonance with 9-11.
