Are the official and the private photos of one and the same person or are we dealing with two different Jarrahs as Paul Thomspon’s great essay suggests ?

And why does Jarrah always wear glasses on the private photos (the danicng was in January 2001)but never on the official ones.
Only exception the painting but this is easier understandable than the fact that he never wears glasses for passport etc.
I wear glasses myself and it's the normal thing to wear them also for your passport photo.
But this is just a detail. Anyone here who has no problems recognizing only one person in all theses photos?
