And in my land,
those with civic responsibilities take them seriously,
votes are properly counted,
and crimes are thoroughly investigated.

Oh,
and a man by the name of Phineas Fogg,
keeps time for the military and the Air Traffic Control,
and no-one here is EVER
late for their own funeral.

Wish I could say the same for the people who depend on those clocks
on the walls of the Pentagon,
and the walls of the ATC towers in the US,
and in the classrooms and corridors of the schools visited by Bush
in times of national crises.
