You do remember that Bush made threats against Iraq before attacking, correct? So, does Israel have to suffer the same fate as Iraq? Granted, Iran doesn't have the power it needs now, but with nukes...then it would be a whole different ball of wax. Face it, the sanctity and sovereignty of Israel is of little interest to anyone other than Israelis, many Jews, and those that like using her as a "scapegoat."

If another country were to invade and attack Israel, like we have done to Iraq, there would be very few here, IMO, that would give a flip.
