Three members of a Reading High School anti-violence group went to Harrisburg to deliver 4,000 signatures on a petition Tuesday urging Gov. Tom Corbett edit GOP moran not to sign a bill expanding the allowable use of deadly force when acting in self-defense.

The members of Project Peace, a group that formed after four Reading High students were slain this past school year, accompanied members of the gun-control group CeaseFirePA to the Capitol.

The petitions were signed online through various sites and the students took them to Corbett's office.

The National Rifle Association (edit morans) supported the legislation while gun-control advocates and some law enforcement officers have said they're concerned about the expansion.
