37. Two killed in police chase (KS)
"A man and a woman were killed early Sunday in a one-car wreck in Kansas City, Kan., after a shooting incident in Overland Park and a police pursuit.
Overland Park police said bouncers escorted the woman and two men out of the Pub on Santa Fe, 7938 Santa Fe Drive, about midnight Saturday.
All three got into a car with the woman behind the wheel, police said. The man in the front passenger seat then fired several shots into the air from a small-caliber handgun. One of those shots hit a parked vehicle nearby. The three then sped away."
